Local Honey Magazine reserves the right to charitably reject any piece that The Editors determine does not align with our standards of the English language, subject matter, and theme.
Local Honey Magazine is not intended for children. While some content will be suitable for children, The Editors will not guarantee that the entire magazine will be.
While we are not explicitly looking for upbeat themes or Christian subjects, we do adhere to a set of principles focused on the True, the Good, and the Beautiful.
No satire, please. While our editors enjoy a good satire piece, we’ve decided this magazine will go in a different direction.
Authors must be local and have a Steubenville (or nearby) mailing address. While we have published other authors in the past, keeping with this requirement allows us to stay true to our mission, which is to create an in-print space for authors located within a geographical region. A tremendous thank you for your understanding.
Please bear in mind that your piece may be well-written and/or thought-provoking—but it just might not be the right fit for our publication.
